What Is the Cost of CPR & First Aid Certification in Georgia & South Carolina?

by | Nov 3, 2023

The cost of CPR and First Aid certification training in Georgia can vary depending on the provider, level of certification, quality of training, and the format. Generally, prices range from $15 to $120 per person.

Our CPR & First Aid Course cost $25 a person and we either come to your facility if you have a group, or we have blended online options that meet all the same guidelines. While we are very affordable, we do this because we believe it is our mission to help people know this important material, not because of lack of quality. First Response is actually one of the leading providers of training in Georgia and South Carolina, but we choose to be affordable to encourage more people to get certified. We have been serving Georgia and South Carolina for over 23 years and have over 800 5 Star reviews to prove our quality.

We also know your industry’s needs better than other training providers. We know Bright from the Start and Endeavors (in South Carolina) guidelines like the back of our hand. This allows us to provide the training you need and not have you pay for things you don’t need. As well as cater our training to your area of work. For example, we have a completely separate CPR / First Aid training curriculum for Child Care vs Elder Care. This allows us to teach the material through the lens of who you work with. Additionally, we provide Fire Safety training, making us your one stop shop for training. Learn more about why First Response here.

Considerations When Chose a CPR Training Provider

It can be tempting to just go with whatever is the cheapest, however, like most things you get what you pay for. Keep the following in mind as you make your decision.

  • Make sure the training option meets the requirements of your job. Most jobs require at least the skills portion to be hands-on training. Additionally, some jobs require AED training. Not sure what class you need? Find out here or contact us and we will help you decide.
  • The provider of the training. Some providers offer lower prices than others.
  • Format of training. Online courses are often cheaper but unless they include an in person hand on skills check, then they won’t meet the necessary requirements for most jobs.
  • Level of certification. If you need AED training in addition to CPR and First Aid, that will add some cost.

If you are looking for a CPR and First Aid training provider, that is fun, affordable, and convenient. We offer CPR and First Aid certification that is only $25 per person. If you want to request a CPR and First Aid class at your facility, you can do so here. If you want to take an online class or join an existing in person class, you (or your group) can sign up on our calendar here.

How Much Does Fire Safety Certification Cost in Georgia?

Many fields in Georgia, like Child Care and Elder Care, require not only CPR and First Aid Training but also Fire Safety Certification. So how much does Fire Safety cost? We charge only $25 a person for our Fire Safety course. This can either be done in person at your facility or done online via Zoom (with a live instructor) for the same $25 a person. Both options fully meet the requirements of the Georgia Fire Marshal’s office and Bright from the Start.

A key mistake people often make with Fire Safety training is they find some really cheap option that they do at their own pace. Then get a certificate that just has the name of the place you paid for the training from on. This won’t meet the requirements for any job regulated by Bright from the Start or Georgia Fire Marshal’s office since the certificate must be issued by the Fire Marshal. To be issued from the Fire Marshal’s office, a certificated instructor must teach the training.

All of our courses online or in person are taught by experienced and fully certified instructors, meaning you not only will get certified, but you will learn a lot and have fun doing it.If you would like to request a Fire Safety class, you can request one here or if you (or your group) want to sign up for an existing online or in person course you can sign up here.
