Jambos is a non-profit organization based in Buford, GA that supports children in Foster Care by providing pajamas in their time of need. Children in the Foster Care system have little to call their own and face the unpredictability of where they will sleep tomorrow, and Jambos understands the stress and uncertainty these children face every day. Jambos is determined to ease these ever-changing circumstances by providing comfort through pajamas.
Jambos not only provides comfort and peace through basic life necessities, but their ultimate mission is to share God’s love with every child they get to serve. They attach a Bible verse and pray over each set of pajamas.
This Christmas, First Response is partnering with Jambos by collecting pajamas at our classes, and donating a pair of PJs for every class taught in December.
How You Can Help
There are a few ways that you can partner with us as we support Jambos.
- Donating Pajamas: During December 2021, bring at least one pair of pajamas to class, and we will take $25 off of the total cost. You can also buy them here with their amazon wishlist.
- Donating Financially: Click here to donate toward the mission.
- Donating Time: Sign up to volunteer with Jambos.
By donating or giving PJs, you will make a direct impact on childrens’ lives in their time of need. First Response thanks you for your partnership with us to bring comfort to these kids during this season.
Looking for Another Way to Support Jambos?
You can donate your time by serving in one or multiple packing parties. This is where you get to roll and pack pajamas so they can be dispatched to the children in the Foster Care system. Click here to volunteer with Jambos.
Love that we get to support Jambos as a team this year!
