Metro Atlanta CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety Classes
We offer CPR, First Aid, AED, Fire Safety, and Bloodborne pathogens training throughout Georgia and South Carolina including the Atlanta area. We have online and in-person training options. For in-person request to host a class or join an existing class in the Atlanta area near you. First Response has served Georgia for over 24 years.

Sign up for the courses you need and attend the classes either in person or online. Step 2b for online CPR is a skills check.

Get the skills, knowledge, and the certificate(s) you need for your job and to be prepared for emergencies you may face.
Individual Training
We have a variety of options for individuals or small groups. You can either join the existing classes we have around Georgia and South Carolina or sign up for one of our online training options.
The online CPR course is blended, meaning the instruction is done online and the hands on portion is done at one of our skills checks.
Group Training
For groups, we offer in-person CPR, First Aid, AED, Fire Safety and bloodborne training at your location, scheduled at your convenience. Morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday sessions are available.
The Metro Atlanta Area minimum to host a class is 8 on weekdays and 12 on Saturdays. Online training options are also available for groups.

CPR & First Aid
Tailored to meet the needs of Elder Care and Child Care Professionals. Training meets the requirements for Bright from the Start, NAEYC, DSS, foster parents, and more.
Fire Safety Training
Now required for ALL staff in child care, adult daycare, assisted living, and personal care facilities in Georgia. Covers how to protect your home and facility from fires and how to respond in case of one.
CPR, First aid, & AED
An ideal training solution for a facility with an AED on-site. Nationally accredited ASHI training meets the requirements for the CDA Council, NECPA, DBHDD, Girl Scout Leaders, Personal Trainers, and more.
Bloodborne Pathogens
Understand what bloodborne pathogens are and reduce the risk of exposure. Required by OSHA yearly for those that are expected to come in contact with bloodborne pathogens on a regular basis.
BLS for Healthcare Professionals
A more advanced class tailored for licensed health care professionals. Meet the requirements for dental professionals, nurses, and more.

Tyler Clark
CPR and First Aid Instructor
Tyler Allison has been with First Response since January 2022. He teaches CPR and First Aid Courses primarily in the Metro Atlanta area.
Tom Enser
Lead Instructor
Tom is our lead instructor and helps train the instructors here at First Response. He is a co-founder and started the company in 2000.
Matt Enser
CPR, First Aid, Fire Safety Instructor, and Digital Marketing Manager
Matt is an instructor as well as handling all the marketing and content creation for First Response. He has been with the company since 2018.
Laura Dickson
CPR and Fire Safety Instructor
Laura has been with First Response since April 2000. She teaches CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety Courses.
Patti Phillips
CPR and Fire Safety Instructor
Patti's theatrical background and elementary education experience make her a natural for teaching. An instructor since August 2016.
